Enjoy making a great birthday party for your child by following these paper airplane party tips. Kids love it. Parents appreciate it and you will have given your child a party to remember.

Some of the tips are obvious, but just use this as a checklist... Even if you don't want to have a Paper Airplane Birthday Party (why wouldn't you???) You can still use these tips for any kind of birthday party for your children.

1. Choose a Date for Your Party...
Probably the very first thing you should do. Most birthday parties for kids are best on Saturday, however, you can pick any day of the week that you like.

Sometimes, Saturdays don’t work because of all the baseball, soccer and other team sports happening then. Sundays can work, but a lot of people go to church, so try and have it in the afternoon.

No matter what date you choose, make sure that the volunteers and most of the people you would like to invite can attend on your intended date before you send out invitations.

2. When Do I Start Planning?
Start planning far enough in advance of the party date to keep it as stress-free as possible. Sometimes a month or more is necessary. You want to get your invitations out in a timely manner so that your guests have enough notice to put the date on their calendars!

And you’ll have enough time in your already busy life to make it special for your child and not kill yourself do-ing it. It’s no fun when you are all stressed out and NOT looking forward to your child’s party.

The extra time you spend will give you an opportunity to order special invitations, decorations, favors, etc... online. Or if you are making them all yourself, definitely pad your schedule with some extra time.

It doesn’t have to be a lot of work, but with the additional time added on before the party date, you will have more fun yourself, and definitely less stress. Even experienced party givers know that a little more time spent on planning makes the stress level go down in large quantities.

3. Find Helpers...
Parties for young children can really use the extra help! Ask a couple of the mothers, or your spouse, older child, or babysitter, if they would be willing to help out for a couple of hours.

It makes the day a lot more fun for both you and your child.

The kids will have constant supervision and parents of the guests can either stay, watch and relax, or drop off their child with no worries.

Your helpers can also be a great resource of information for other party ideas. Two or more heads are always better than one. You don’t have to do it all by yourself!

4. Choose a Theme... (how about Paper Airplanes?)
Some of the best parties we’ve been to revolve around a theme. Your child’s party theme doesn’t have to be complicated. In this case, why not make it all about paper airplanes?

In fact, anything that you can plan your party around and have fun with can be a kid party theme. Use your imagination. But let’s get back to the Paper Airplane Party Theme idea..
