Follow the steps below: – Make a bullseye by marking off a hole in the fence about half way up. (Use tape, or crumple up paper and stuff it in the hole, a piece of wood – anything that will fit in one of the holes.)
– Walk away from the fence about 10 paces. This becomes the throw line.
– Each player takes a turn throwing one of their dart paper airplanes at the fence. The goal is to try to stick the paper airplane into the fence wires as close to the bullseye as possible.
– The bullseye is worth 5 points. Each diamond shape away from the bullseye is one less point.
– You score if the plane is still caught in the fence after everyone has taken a turn. Try to know you opponent’s plane out of the fence to keep them from scoring. If you manage to knock another plane through the fence and stick yours in on the same throw, score 25 points.
– First person to score 50 points is the winner. For helpful information on paper airplane aerodynamics, read the section called, “What Makes Paper Airplanes Fly?” on our Paper Airplane Flight page.
