Paper Airplane Introduction at Easy Paper Airplanes
Welcome to a world of fun for you and your children! This paper airplane introduction is to let you know that making paper airplanes is not only fun, but educational too.
The art of making paper airplanes has been around not for centuries, but rather from the last century (1900s). This is due of course, to the fact that airplanes weren’t even in existence until the Wright Brothers’ first airplane was designed.
The joy and satisfaction making paper airplanes brings, is immeasurable. It’s amazing how a simple piece of paper can easily be transformed into a flying toy. This book aims to show you how to do that with as little fuss and muss as possible.
My criteria for making the easiest paper airplanes is the following:
Only use paper you don’t care about.
You’ll never have to use scissors, cutting knives or glue.
The only materials you need are your hands, brain, and a piece of paper.
Having said that, if you want to get a little fancier in your airplane designs, check out more cool paper airplanes that use just a little more than your hands and plain paper.
What kind of paper works best? 16-20 lb paper. And for those who don’t know what that means, it’s basically your lightest printer/copier paper you can get. Newspaper works. Scrap paper works. Cardboard doesn’t! Too thick and impossible to fold at certain times. So, if you are having problems folding, then try switching to a lighter paper.
You’ll find that once you get the basic folds down (and you don’t even have to practice that much!) you’ll be able to make any paper airplane that you like. And let your imagination run wild! Even with a few minor adjustments, you can turn one kind of paper airplane into another – from Glider to Stunt paper airplane – all with just a few minor tweaks here and there.
The goal of this Web site is to act like a guide to teach you all about folds, flight, paper airplane history, games you can play and parties you can have with simple paper airplanes. And most importantly, how to build the best paper airiplane flying machine!
